My Offbeat Journey: Overcoming challenges and becoming more flexible when Plan A doesn’t work.
Hey everyone!
Welcome back to my offbeat journey. I have a ton of things to catch you up on.
First off, I am back in New York City. I was only supposed to be here for a few weeks before I went back to Florida and then to my month-long trip across America and Canada for my hiking trip.
But because I am super clumsy, I ended up spraining my ankle pretty badly and I had to cancel all of my trips and will be here for a little while.
Listen Below:
I was sad and happy at the same time, sad because obviously, we planned this trip for months and now, I won’t be able to go, it has been one of my dream trips to do. I also had to postpone and cancel a few collaborations because I couldn’t do some of the shoots and activities that it required.
Happy because I am able to spend time with my nieces, who I am so in love with. I am also working with several brands here in the city and also another business venture. So this will give me time to focus on that. I am expanding my streams of income outside of content creation, and I can not wait to share more about that in the near future!
Today I wanted to talk to you about being flexible and being open to change of plans in business and life.
I remember being stressed out when plan A didn’t work for me and I would become so agitated and angry. As I got older, I have come to realize that these detours have allowed me to become more resourceful and to learn how to run a better business.
It taught me patience, and it allowed me to become more creative.
