The key is knowing what you are good at, developing a passion for it, honing those skills, and realizing your growth potential.

Everyone starts in the freelancing world without any idea of how to begin. It feels like starting all over from scratch, but the reality is that you most likely have the tools already in your skillset.

Some of the best paying online jobs are catered to those with an area of expertise. Working for yourself is a major factor in controlling how much you make.

When you know your worth, someone is willing to pay for it.

Landing the Best Paying Online Jobs

The key to landing remote work is staying ahead of the curb and letting your potential employers and clients know it.

There are numerous online courses, free and otherwise, that you can use to increase your skillset. More than anything, a portfolio provides proof that you know what you can do.

A resume should include every last little detail from management skills to education levels. But the key is to be able to reference your work.

A website is highly recommended in this case and will help tremendously in your job search. A freelancer without any form of online presence is going to have difficulty making it in the world of remote work.

To get paid to work online, you need to have references or some form of proof that when a company pays you for your services, you can deliver.

A unique aspect of finding remote work is that most interviews are conducted online, meaning you are going to have to learn how to use some usually unnecessary platforms (Skype, Video Conferencing Apps, etc.).

Schedule some time before the interview to learn about different software and apps that a future employer may require you to work with to give a great impression on your first go.

The more knowledgeable a freelancer is, the more likely they are to get paid for online jobs.

Below are 35 jobs you can do right from your home office that pay equal, or more, than your current work.
